So today, I gave Apple a painting by Kayoko Tanaka, a Japanese artist. I deliberately gave Apple a collection of paintings so that they can be kept and displayed in their home when they are grown up. This is the second painting I have given to Apple. The first painting I gave to Apple was a painting by Suanjaya Kencut. At that time, what was special about this painting was that it could still be requested to have an animated apple fruit rain. So there were several of Suanjaya's paintings that could be turned into animations via AR. Fortunately, he was willing to customize it for Apple. As of this year 2023, Suanjaya's painting with a size of 140x180 is worth 470 million. Whereas, when I bought the painting, it was only 15 million. Apple may not understand why they were given a painting and would probably prefer a toy. Hopefully, when they grow up, they will understand the value of all this.
As an avid art collector, I've always been drawn to the thrill of finding the next hidden gem. It's like searching for Michelangelo amidst a sea of macaroni - a challenging but immensely rewarding pursuit. From a young age, I've had an eye for talent and a deep appreciation for what makes each artist unique. Of course, not every piece in my collection is chosen solely for its artistic merit. Sometimes it's the personal story behind a painting that captures my heart. But that's a story for another day. Right now, I simply want to revel in the beauty of my collection and savor the joy that comes with each new discovery.
